In to every life a little rain must fall! Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..." We give thanks for the rain, but it has put a damper (see what I did there) on our plans for Western Night on Sunday, January 28th. In deference to the weather, we are postponing the festivities to February 11th, same time and place. Competition will be fierce in the People's Choice Chili Cook Off, so bring your best pot of chili, ladle and toppings! The sign up sheet will be in the lobby if you didn't get a chance to enter.
We are still heading out to Oasis Coffee Spot on Saturday at 6:45 pm for a church-wide fellowship. I hope to see you there! This is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend to see the body of Christ in fellowship and having a good time.
If you can't make it out Saturday night, then I really hope to see you on Sunday morning. Remember, snacks and coffee are ready by 10:30 am. We also have prayer at 10:30 am. If you haven't joined us before, I encourage you to get up a little early and come worship with us in prayer. We gather in a circle in the worship center and whomever feels led to pray does so. Start your week off on the right foot. See you there!
